Collection: Bo Fajans
Bo Fajans was a Swedish ceramics manufacturer founded in 1874 in southern Sweden, known for producing both decorative art pottery and functional household ceramics.
The company became an important contributor to Scandinavian ceramic design, particularly during the early to mid-20th century. Bo Fajans collaborated with several notable designers, including Ewald Dahlskog, Eva Jancke-Björk, and Berit Ternell, whose work helped define the company’s artistic direction.
Bo Fajans produced a wide range of ceramics, including vases, bowls, tableware, and decorative objects. Their designs often reflected Art Deco and later Scandinavian Modern styles, with an emphasis on clean forms, innovative glazing techniques, and artistic surface decoration.
The company remained active until 1967, after which production ceased. Today, Bo Fajans ceramics are collected for their craftsmanship, distinctive glazes, and their role in the development of Swedish modern design.
