Janiyé Miye Matsukata

Modernist silversmith Janiyé Miye Matsukata (1922-1981) who was born in Tokyo Japan. After attending the Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston, she opened her store, JANIYE on Newbury Street in Boston in 1950 and continued to create her beautiful minimalist jewelry till her death in 1981.
