Joseph Skinger

(1911-1967) was a Vermont Metalsmith in the 1940's through the 1960's. He was a master craftsman in handwrought silver jewelry. Skinger began his jewelry workshop in Alburg, Vermont in 1947 and in 1949 he opened his retail jewelry store, "Silver By Skinger" in Stowe, Vermont. He remained in business till his untimely death in 1967.
