Fischer Design Jewelry - Artist's Statement:
It's the construction of a piece that brings satisfaction to my work but it's what the stone suggests when gazing into it that truly awes me. The artistry found in nature as well as what humans build and draw and create is inspiring. Each piece is made by hand and most work is one of a kind...just like you.
I am a second-generation jewelry artist, having traveled with my mother, Marilyn Fischer, to art and craft fairs across the Midwest for over 30 years. The work with metal and semi-precious stones began in the late 90’s. I live in Billings, Montana and received a B.A. from Concordia College in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
