Intricate and artistic large sterling silver modernist brooch by Carolina Cole. Features an asymmetrical oval shape with a cut out recessed center that has been adorned with spun string silver metallic fibers that zig zag across the face in a shoelace pattern. They look almost as they have been sewn in as you can see the stitching on the back side. Extremely beautiful and unique. Overall the brooch is in excellent condition with no dings, dents or damage. Has a little patina and a water spot or two from cleaning but will be professionally polished before shipping. Included with purchase is an adapter so it can be worn as a pendant if preferred.
