Danish Henning Koppel Georg Jensen Sterling Modernist Atomic Brooch #342 Circa 1960s
Brooch has strong sculptural and organic components and a pronounced sense of movement. The form includes two convex "rays" and one ray with a scooped-out silhouette.

Koppel was a prolific designer whose work was known for its strong sculptural qualities. He won numerous international awards for his work including the International Design Award of the American Institute of Interior Designers in 1963 and worked for Bang & Grondahl, Orrefors, Saxbo and others. He was also the father of textile designer Nina Koppel.
