Stunning detail to this two toned sterling silver brooch designed by Gertrude Engel for Anton Michelsen. Recently buffed, the brooch is in mint condition with no damage and little to no wear. It is absolutely museum quality condition! Included with brooch are 2 sterling silver plate converters so that it can be worn either vertically or horizontally as a pendant on a necklace if preferred.
Gertrude Engel was a Swedish designer that produced rare and highly sought after designs for Michelsen during the 1950s and 1960s. Anton Michelsen of Copenhagen Denmark - Active from 1893 - 1960s.
