Fantastic oversized convertible brooch/pendant by the incomparable Amy Kahn Russell. It features a large bezel set Ammonite shell fossil as the top focal piece with an equally large polished colorful Mother of Pearl piece. Additionally it's accented with a flower shape carved clear quartz stone and marquis cut Amethyst stone, both of which are bezel set. I have paired it with a sterling silver snake chain, that is well suited for the weight and size of this stunning work of art. Both the chain and the pendant are in excellent condition. There is one small flaw in the  flower carved clear quartz, the bottom right corner has a small sliver missing from the top. Not sure if that is a natural flaw or damage. I have circled the area in the last photo, it's incredibly hard to see and photograph as it's so minor. Timeless and truly elegant statement piece.
