Fantastic Scandinavian modernist designed sterling silver and enamel pendant. Designed by Bjørn Sigurd Østern for David Andersen in the 1960's. Sterling Silver pendant features a 3-D abstract modernist design that has been enameled in gorgeous shades of deep violet and silvery gray. Enamel is crisp and bright, positively stunning work of art. There is a loop at the bottom of the pendant that I assume it is to allow it to worn upside down if preferred. There are no missing pieces, as confirmed by the last photo that is from the book: Northern Lights, The Beauty of the Forgotten Scandinavian Enamel Jewelry Artists by Lois Olson and Dwight Olson.
Pendant is paired with an original Andersen V-Style Torque collar/neck ring that has a lightly hammered finish. Neck ring is pliable and could accommodate a large neck size. Both pieces are in excellent condition with only light patina and light wear.
Mannequin is a life-size torso representation
