Enamel in crisp shades of gold and black and the official name for this set is Pre-Columbian Greek Key as noted in, "Margot Van Voorhies - The Art of Mexican Enamelwork" by Penny C Merill for Schiffer Publishing. Page 181.  Enamel is fully intact, with no damage or repairs - Very clean, glossy and bright. Minor wear to backs - comparable to age. A stunning and rare collector's set.
