Virden Lighting

Started in Cleveland, OH in the 1930's, Virden Lighting became the third largest among the nation’s 1,400 fixture manufacturers by 1968. with production tripling from eight years prior. The company sold more than 1,000 varieties from its biannual catalog (Released on odd years) Its designers sketched 2,500 fixtures per year, selecting 100 patterns to be prototyped. The last photo is of this light from their 1965 catalog featured on page 42. The company was purchased and owned by the Scott & Fetzer Co from 1966 till 1977.
