The H.W. Burdick Company was founded in Cleveland Ohio around the turn of the 20th Century by Herbert Webster Burdick. They were an extremely successful wholesaler and specialized in the import of silver and gold jewelry. Supplying the finest sterling and gold jewelry pieces across the US to independent jewelry stores and fine department stores, until the death of Mr. Burdick in 1938.
