Beautiful enamel and sterling silver brooch by iconic Norwegian designer Aksel Holmsen. Based on the markings and style of pinback closure, this stunning piece was most likely made in 1930s or earlier. The enamel is clean and bright with no damage of any kind. Back and trim have heavy wear to the gold plating, looks more silver than gold. Included with purchase is a converter so it can be worn as a pendant if preferred.
