This beautiful 1950s black and gold round metal trashcan (would also make an awesome plant stand) that is in good vintage condition. The outer frame sits on 3 feet keeping it up off of the floor. It has been newly sanded and painted with an acrylic paint and a heavy clear lacquer top coat. New rubber grommet, bolt and washers added as well. There are a few imperfections on the bottom rim, and a heavy solder mark (not sure if that was a repair or manufacturing defect) please see last 3 photos.
Looks almost brand and not it's 70+ years in age. A terrific MCM collector's piece.
