Donna McAfee

Donna McAfee (June 8, 1952 – February 22, 2017) was a studio fine jewelry artist in Wichita, Kansas. She graduated with a master’s degree in art education at Emporia State University 1978 and taught art for 9 years before starting her own business "McAfee Metalry" - designing and constructing fine jewelry from her home. She was a member of numerous arts and craftsman societies. Her fine Jewelry is consistently gorgeous, distinctive, and meticulously handcrafted from fine silver, gold and often set with various semi-precious gemstones. McAfee hand signed and dated each item she crafted, and the majority of her items were one of a kind, never to be reproduced! "It is in the wearing of the jewelry that the creative process is truly completed. I hope that others feel the same pleasure and sense of connection while wearing my jewelry that I feel while making it.
