The family played a major role in the jewelry that was being produced during the Mexican Silver Renaissance days of Mexico with the focal point being in Taxco. They started in 1937 in Iguala, Mexico before moving to Taxco in 1941. They gained much recognition during this time, where they ranked high when it came to the jewelry that was being produced in Taxco. Their jewelry is highly sought after, not only for the name but the impeccable workmanship & longevity that their jewelry has. - From Bille Hougart's Book "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks"
