Stunning pair of vintage modernist studio-crafted statement earrings. These earrings showcase an exceptional blend of architectural geometry and organic textures, beautifully embodying the high-fashion Art Deco revival style of the 1970s and 1980s.
Premium Benchwork Construction: Unlike mass-produced fashion jewelry, the fringe pearls are individually secured using a labor-intensive, professional bench technique. Each baroque pearl is threaded onto an internal metal stem with an integrated ball-end rivet on the inside of the lower tier, providing a highly secure, mechanical anchor that allows the pearls to dance and catch the light naturally.
Aesthetics: Features dual-tiered, heavily stippled/textured semi-circular fan panels finished in a thick, rich yellow gold vermeil. A beautiful half-moon / crescent-cut natural purple amethyst is bezel-set at the center of each architectural frame, anchored below by a luxurious cluster of drop-shaped freshwater pearls.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, bright gold patina. The vermeil finish is exceptionally well-preserved with minimal to no wear. All pearls and settings are structurally sound and completely intact.
