Collection: Aanund Havstad
(July 22, 1938, Oslo - March 3, 2022 Fredrikstad) Havstad first worked for five years as a tinsmith with his father, Gunnar H. After completing his goldsmith education, he made his debut at Maihaugen in 1969. He was initially associated with Plus, Fredrikstad, but from 1975 he had his own workshop.
His first work was characterized by strict forms and the traditional use of materials, but from the early 1970s, he presented jewelry closely aligned with the latest trends, among other things. German goldsmith art, unusual but refined material combinations, and precise and exciting shapes. In the 1980s, a more imaginative and more natural softness gained a foothold in his jewelry art.
