A striking example of sculptural modernist jewelry, this dimensional converter brooch pendant combines polished black Lucite with warm 14K yellow gold and a sparkling diamond accent. Purchased from the same estate sale that I also acquired multiple Betty Cooke pieces.
The design features a substantial, smoothly polished oval of deep black Lucite, dramatically overlaid with two gently curved rectangular gold forms.
