Stunning guilloche and filigree inlaid enamel, gilt sterling silver pendant and chain from Marius Hammer. Marked N.M. 936 for copyright design #936. The "NM" mark, often present in Norwegian silver, is the abbreviation of "Norskt Mönster" meaning Norwegian pattern. It is a kind of a copyright mark for Norway. Hard to believe this stunning pendant is over 100 years old! Other than a very tiny chip on the enamel of the middle hanging tendril, this pendant is in wonderful condition! There is little to no wear to the back. Slight fading to the color of the pink enamel on the bezel. Such a rare and desirable collector's piece. Absolutely Museum worthy!
